Standard courses pricing

No two clients are the same. That is why even my standard courses are always tailored to your unique requirements.

The standard and micro courses listed are £175 per hour per 20 attendees. You may add delegates to these courses at £10 per delegate per hour. Two small primaries or departments in a secondary school may share costs, e.g. getting 6 hours of CPD for as little as £525.

Compare the Sutton Trust-EEF Toolkit estimated training costs for collaborative approaches of £20 per pupil per year to the one-off charge of £4.50 per pupil at a 20-teacher school such as Stalham Academy - now top 500 in the UK - spreading £900 over six months for the Skills & Mastery course.

Add to this savings on much more costly best-practice approaches from the Toolkit integrated in Cooperative Learning. And unlike most full-spectrum programmes, Cooperative Learning will integrate with or strengthen your previous CPD investments.

There are no further expenses: All these courses work with any teaching materials currently used in your school, and there is no inherent requirement for more CPD.

Coaching, Research & Development

For schools looking for classroom coaching, SLT training or specialised guidance, such as training providers bidding for Strategic Funding or universities researching Cooperative Learning, I am available at £85 per hour.

For lesson observations, an optional full written report with recommandations is included in this price (value for a full day's observations hover at £200+). Also included for lesson observations are my travel costs in Norfolk, Midlands and London.

Bespoke courses

I am also ready to design and deliver individually priced fully bespoke workshops and specialised courses to teachers or stakeholders - even directly to pupils, such as the Connected Curriculum “Life in the Global Village”-workshops for Norwich High School for Girls. Contact me directly to discuss your needs.

An example of a bespoke course to staff is the 2017 "Real Value of TAs" workshop for Evolution Academy Trust, tailored to uncover TA's own perceptions of their roles and to empower them to improve outcomes, in reference to the EEF's Making Best Use of Teaching Assistants Guidance Report. "Working with Jakob on activities to further promote the effectiveness of Teaching Assistants has been both interesting and productive. Jakob’s training  leaves nothing to chance, is focussed, thorough, reflective and takes good account of the real development needs of the team.”

- Tony hull, CEO of Evolution Academy Trust, 2017.
