Invoices and payment

Invoices from Werdelin Education are issued by email prior to delivery as a PDF and/or a Quickbooks link. We prefer to receive payment by BACS or PayPal, but do also accept cheques. The due date and all necessary details for making payment are found on the invoice itself.

Late payment fees

Clients are requested to pay the fee within the time-frame stated on the invoice as there will be a £10 per day fee starting from the day after the agreed payment date. If you are unable to pay on time, please contact us to discuss. We will always find a solution that works for everyone.

For organisations which require invoices to include a purchase order number or require the invoice to be sent to a specific email account or a named individual, the client is responsible for providing this information in time for the payment to be made on schedule.

Unless otherwise agreed in writing, where organisations have separate finance departments (such as MATs or universities) the responsibility for ensuring payments are made on time or for chasing missing payments and/or late payment fees, etc. remains with the named individual who originally booked the session.

Training materials and copyright

Unless otherwise agreed, you will receive an email with a PDF of relevant handouts before the training session with detailed instructions for printing. Please ensure you safely store at least one printed master copy to photocopy to any new staff and then delete the original email and any digital copies from all hard drives.

Any and all materials are designed exclusively for use within in the specific school(s), department(s) or organisation(s) covered by your arrangements with Werdelin Education. By receiving, downloading, copying and/or printing these materials you have accepted these terms and that you may not use any Werdelin Education materials outside that specified context, nor alter them, rebrand them, sell them on or share them with 3rd parties for training, coaching or any other purpose whatsoever. If your trust, any associated teaching school, school board or other stakeholder has any questions about this, please refer them to us directly.

Not only is copyright infringement a criminal offence which entails up to 6 months in prison and/or an unlimited fine (Copyright, Designs and Patent Act 1988 Section 107(1)(e)), but distributing Werdelin Education materials to untrained staff in other organisations has demonstrably had a negative effect on teaching and learning in some cases.

Deposits, cancellations & fees

If reserved dates are more than one calendar month in the future, we politely ask for £100 per date that your organisation reserves. This serves as a non-refundable deposit to protect Werdelin Education against losses incurred from cancellations. Upon reserving the date a separate invoice is issued the deposit(s). Deposits will be calculated against the invoice for the corresponding session. (Note that deposits do not apply to payment plans).

Where a cancellation is made less than one calendar month before the reserved date, cancellations are subject to a 25% administration fee in addition to the £100 deposit for each session cancelled.

For organisations which have formally reserved a date but failed to pay the deposit within the agreed time, a 50% cancellation fee is applicable unless the session is moved to forward to a mutually agreed date.

Alterations, cancellations & refunds by Werdelin Education

In the extremely unlikely event of a session being cancelled by Werdelin Education, a full refund will be made unless the the client agrees in writing to move the booking to an alternative date. For all bookings, the liability of Werdelin Education shall be limited to the amount of the fee actually paid to Werdelin Education.
