Results, radicalisation issues and leadership:
Cooperative Learning to lift one of Britain's most challenged communities
This tailored 11-hour course has been developed cver 18 months to meet the highly specialised needs of Muslim schools in the UK, in relation to results, radicalisation issues and leadership. It puts Ofsted compliant, effective student-centred learning at the fingertips of all staff, including unqualified teachers, across all subjects, driving attainment and progress, while integrating behavior and higher level thinking.
The huge amount of pupil premium eligble children in Muslim faith schools means the Sutton Trust's advice on Cooperative Learning applies all the more to these often small, cash-strapped community-based schools. Please see the article EEF Teaching and Learning Toolkit; a Cooperative Learning gloss for full details.
Specifically, the course gives a practical demonstration of how to facilitate the Islamic component of the curriculum in relation to both subject matter and authentic identity formation in the context of “Fundamental British Values” and other requirements outlined in the Independent Schools Standards.
in Critical Studies on Terrorism, 2015.
