The SDSA has existed and developed as a not-for-profit organisation supporting schools and childrens services in Leicester for over 15 years.
The objective is to present to maths leads how Cooperative Learning is applied to Maths and include primary lesson objectives, such as inculcating mathematical concepts and procedural task resolution and relevant secondary objectives, e.g. formative and summative assessment, written evidence, equal participation, acquiring and applying target language, higher level thinking, etc. Especially for Maths No Problem specialists, this course is a must.
